Goosebumps | First Cast Members Announced
The new series based on the same book series “Goosebumps” is being produced by Disney+ and had its first cast members announced this Friday (7).
Justin Long (Barbarian), Ana Yi Puig (Back to the Prom), Miles McKenna (Good Girls Get High) and Will Price (The Equalizer) were the names announced by Variety.
According to the official synopsis, “the series will follow a group of five high school students who unleash supernatural forces on their city and must work together to save it.”
According to Disney Branded Television, the series will be influenced by the five most popular “Goosebumps” books.

In the works since April 2020, the series will contain 10 episodes and is expected to premiere in the first half of 2023.
Nick Stoller and Rob Letterman serve as writers and executive producers of the new series. As does Neal H. Moritz, producer of the 2015 and 2018 adaptations, who also serves as executive producer of the new version.
Goosebumps has sold over 350 million copies worldwide, making it the second best-selling book series in history after Harry Potter.
Due to its great success, the books were first adapted in Canada in 1995, three years after the release of volume 1.
The cast of the Canadian series included actors such as Ryan Gosling (La La Land) and Hayden Christensen (Star Wars – Episode II).
We still don’t know what to expect from this upcoming adaptation, but we hope it will give you goosebumps throughout its episodes.
